Bag End Bed & Breakfast wood sign
The home of Bilbo Baggins, and later Frodo Baggins is a well-known and beloved part of Tolkien lore. Hobbit holes are synonymous with comfort, and Bag End is a perfect example of the cozy feeling that the Baggins home exudes. If either of the famous hobbits were to open up their home to guests on a regular basis, I’d like to believe they’d hang this sign in the garden to welcome them in…party business or not.
I’ve poured a lot of thought and time into creating this sign, and I believe the feel and aesthetic perfectly matches the rustic yet whimsical vibe that you might find in The Shire. Inspired by the hobbit door seen in the films, as well as the lush environments that give the village it’s look, this sign is perfect for any LOTR fan to hang on their wall. The wood construction is made to look just a bit rustic, while the addition of some artificial greenery gives that natural look as if the sign has been around for many years.
As every sign is made by hand, no two will be exactly alike, and the worn features will vary from piece to piece. Each sign is coated with a few layers of spray lacquer, but these are intended to hang indoors and are not weather treated. Please expect up to 3-4 weeks for completion.
This is for the Bag End sign as it appears here. If you’re looking to customize your own, I’ll have that option available very soon!
