Chetney's Workshop
Fans of Critical Role have a lot to love when it comes to all of the different characters, personalities and chaos that each member brings to the table. Perhaps one of the most beloved new arrivals is also one of the most fun, as is clear whenever Travis embodies the gnome Chetney Pock-o-pea. A craftsman in the well-respected field of woodworking, Chetney loves nothing more than to build things using his tools, and he seems to have a fondness for tiny rocking chairs.
One day he will get back to doing what he loves, and I’m sure he would want to hang a sign above his shop that he would be proud of.
Each sign is hand distressed as it likely would have appeared being exposed to the elements. Painted letters are individually cut out and attached to the top, while gouges and natural wear add to the depth of the sign There’s even a few…suspicious marks that look like perhaps an animal clawed at the sign? Who knows.
The crossbar provides additional dimension, as to the 2 black faux metal decorative straps that run down each side, while brass hardware tacks give it that industrial look. A separate emblem is engraved and attached to the sign, with an indicator that perhaps Chetney isn’t interested in making furniture anymore. Finally, below hangs a reminder that around once a month, the shop closes for personal reasons. The sign is hung by a braided rope that makes hanging easy on any nail or wall hook.
